No attachment, no problem

Pick the job from the list, then choose what to post — payment, PDF, note — with a tap. Splitting one bill across several jobs? Give each its own amount. Slate does exactly what you picked, and nothing you didn't.
And when you can't decide yet — you need to ask someone where a bill came from — put it on hold with a note. It waits for you in Review, even after you close Slate.
For the old ones
Old bills often carry no job number and no address — just a date. Turn on your install calendar and Slate looks at which crews were scheduled around that day, and offers those jobs. It never files on a date alone: you always confirm.
Nothing gets lost
Every document Slate touched — loaded, already there, or skipped — is kept in one searchable place. Filter by outcome or date, and export it to CSV when your books need it. No more digging through the inbox to prove what got paid.
